Privacy policy

Luopan (“we”) is committed to handling your personal data in accordance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have.

What we collect

• Purchase email — there are no accounts. When you buy a report, Stripe collects your email at checkout and we use it only to deliver your report link and let you recover it later.
• Home data — the floor plan you upload, the facing degree you set, the property type, and the name you give the home. Floor plans are stored in a private bucket accessible only to our report pipeline; your report is reachable only through its private, unguessable link.
• Purchase data — payment status and amounts. Card details are processed by Stripe and never touch our servers.
• Usage data — anonymous product analytics (page views, scan funnel events) to improve the service.

How your floor plan is used

Your floor plan is processed by our enterprise AI partner solely to identify rooms and write your report’s narrative. The fengshui chart itself is computed by our own proprietary software from the facing degree. Your floor plans and reports are never used to train AI models, and we do not sell or share them with advertisers.

Our service providers

We work with a small number of specialist providers — secure cloud hosting, a managed database with authentication and private file storage, an enterprise AI partner for report narration, and a transactional email service. Each receives only the data needed for its function, under agreements consistent with the PDPA. Payments are processed by Stripe; your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Some providers process data outside Singapore; we only use providers whose safeguards meet the PDPA’s transfer requirements.

Retention & deletion

We keep your floor plan and report so you can revisit them through your private link. To have your data deleted — floor plans, scans, reports and purchase email — email hello@luopan.sg from the address you paid with and we will delete it within 7 days. Deletion is irreversible. Payment records required for tax and accounting are retained by Stripe per their policies.
